Our commitment

At Anke Kemp, we want to raise the fashion industry to a higher standard.

That means sustainability for our fabrics, and good working conditions for the people who make our clothes.

How do we make this happen?

With suppliers and retailers who can demonstrate one or more of these certifications and memberships:

Fair Wear Foundation
Global Organic Textile Standard
Organic Content Standard
Global Recycled Standard
Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®

The impact of our organic materials

Each time you buy an organic cotton T-shirt instead of a conventional cotton one, you are reducing water consumption by 91% = 397 litres of water.

Who made our clothing?

Being a startup fashion brand comes with limitations. If you do not have unlimited resources or secured an investment from day 1, you have to start small.

Meaning, working directly with factories to produce a minimum quantity of 500 per item, is just not possible. Thats why we work with a third party, who is able to offer smaller quantities for small brands.

So we asked the direct question to them, to ensure a quality work environment for the people who make our clothes.

We are happy to share the sustainability report from our partner.

Compostable mailers

Compostable packaging is made from a number of renewable plant-based materials and/or bio-polymers.

The Tissue paper & cards we use to wrap up your orders, is 100% compostable & recyclable.

The tissue paper is printed with soy-based inks, on FSC-certified paper, and is Acid, sulphur, and lignin-free.
